Rumours were churning out stories about Ajay Devgn being roped in for a film written by Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Vijayendra Prasad. Now, as per the latest reports, the project is based on Babri Masjid’s demolition. It seems that Devgn has ended up being a part of yet another controversial movie after Singham and Son of Sardaar.

The movie has been titled ‘Kabir’. According to a source to DNA, “It is not a pro-government film. Kabir takes a look at the turmoil that our country faced after the Babri Masjid was demolished and one man’s heroic attempt to stand up to the violence that followed”.

The source further said that the script has been narrated to the Drishyam star and he has also given his nod for the same. Vijayendra Prasad is looking forward to helm the project himself. Reportedly, censor board chief Pahlaj Nihalani will produce the movie.
