Job Role Manager, Software Test Engineering
JOB SUMMARY:
Company Profile:
1. TCP/IP technologies such as Routing, BGP, MPLS, Multicast, IPv6
2. L2 protocols( VLAN/Trunking, STP/RSTP/MSTP/PVSTP, LACP/Link Aggregation, PBB, Ethernet OAM etc.)
3. Openflow, SDN, Openstack, ESX, Data center Fabric, Virtualization, VXLAN technologies.
4. Should have hands-on experience on Test planning, topology planning, requirement-to-testcase mapping, Test case writing, Defect logging and tracking, with excellent debugging skills.
5. Good knowledge and hands-on experience of test tools. Python programming experience is highly preferred.
6. Good knowledge of testing methodologies, knowledge of different testing types and overall product life-cycle
7. Good communication skills and experience in working with remote teams desired.
8. With minimum 2+ years experience as a test manager and should have managed 8 to 10 full-time employees ; exposure to partner management will be a plus.
9. Ability to mutitask, handle customer escalations on demand, technically drive the team in customer issue repro, strong collaboration skills to work with TAC, Development and account teams.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:1. BS in engineering ; Master's in engineering highly preferrred.
2. 10+ years industry experience with Bachelors in Engineering.
