PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:The primary responsibility of this role is to design and develop Wright Line Lab/Office furniture to meet customer specific technical, cost and market related technology requirement of B Line Business. 2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Limit yourself to 8-12 statements) 1. Support multiple projects/programs/teams related to new product development (NPD), value analysis and value engineering (VAVE) and sustaining engineering (SE) through the execution of these programs/projects in a timely manner, supporting the business goals and Profit Plan objectives. 2. Preparation and maintenance of Project Plans and ensure project execution per project plan. Create CAD drawings , 3D models , Assemblies etc and ensure release in PLM / ERP system per project plan. 3. Executes engineering projects/ programs, involving product design, testing and preparation of specifications, process studies etc using appropriate tools and techniques such as DFSS, DFM , DMAIC, DFMEA etc Candidate Profile:Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
